Facilitation

What is a facilitator?

Host, guide, leader of a workshop, gathering, meeting, or event. A facilitator needs to be:

  • Focused on the overall aim
  • Able to guide everyone through the process
  • Aware of the needs of the team and each team member
  • A neutral mediator during discussions and decision making processes

Why do I need a facilitator?

If you’ve ever felt that your meetings lack focus, efficiency or purpose, a facilitator can help.

If you sometimes feel that not all voices in your team are being heard, a facilitator can help with that too.

If you are facing a challenge, a change or a big development and you’re not sure how to navigate it, a facilitator can help.

Collaborating with a facilitator allows every member of your team to fully immerse in the process, be it a recurring meeting or a one off workshop. Guided and supported by an impartial facilitator, team members are free to create, learn, connect, and focus on the shared goal.

What can I help you with?

Hosting events, designing and leading workshops, planning and facilitating meetings, online, offline, and anything in between!

I have a broad range of interests and experiences (find out more about me here). Some of my favourite topics to dive into include:

  • Sustainability
  • Equality and diversity
  • Building communities for positive impact
  • Strengthening team dynamics and communication
